Grease Release
HOW THE GREASE-RELEASE WORKS
Grease-Release is designed to trap, direct and compress the floating fats, oils & greases into an area, so they can be easily forced out through a valve whilst creating strong upward hydro pressure. The creation of the upwards water pressure is achieved by a series baffles & wears.
Stage 1 – Area 1
Waste water from sinks & dishwashers Steam Ovens & wok stations enters ‘area one’ of the Grease Release unit.
As the water enters ‘area one’ the water passes through a removable fine mesh filter basket filtering out all the solids.
Stage 2 – Area 2
As more water enters the unit the filtered water & grease in ‘area 1’ is forced downwards into ‘area two’ where its directed under the diagonal baffle.
The floating trapped grease in ‘area two’s’ diagonal baffle is directed into ‘area three’
Stage 3 – Area 3
As more floating grease enters ‘area 3’ the grease is compressed in the tight spaced separation chamber where upon the grease becomes visible in the protruding sight glass.
As more floating grease enters ‘area three’ it becomes compressed, replacing and pushing the water out and downwards.
Stage 4 – Area 4
As the trapped grease builds up in ‘area three’ the clean degreased water exits and flows under ‘area four’.
The floating fat’s oils & grease’s trapped in ‘area three’ are too light to flow under the low baffle in ‘area four’.
Stage 5 – Area 5
The clean water exiting area four flows up and over the extended outlet wear in area five.
The ‘area five’ wear creates the operating water level within the tank.
The extended water operating height of the ‘area 5’ wear creates a strong upward water pressure in area’s two & three.
As the grease valve is opened in ‘area three’ the upward pressure created in ‘area two’ forces the compressed grease out of the tank.
Ensuring only clean degreased water is discharged into the drainage system.
